Dean Cibotti leads TekSynap’s Air Force (USAF) Programs, bringing over three decades of leadership in defense, aviation, systems engineering, and space operations. He has extensive experience in both military and civilian capacities, including senior roles in business development for USAF programs at General Dynamics IT.

A seasoned aviator and acquisition professional, Dean has flown over 10,000 hours in various military and civilian aircraft, culminating his flying career as a 747-8 Captain at a major airline. As a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps, he directed division innovation, agile acquisition, and cyber initiatives for a $6B+ portfolio encompassing multiple IT and Cyber programs and over 800 personnel. Dean led the Air Force’s acquisition of IT and cyber infrastructure solutions and guided integration efforts for PEO Command, Control, Communication, and Battle Management (C3BM) in support of JADC2. He also collaborated with MAJCOMs, ANG, COCOMs, Joint/Air Staff, DISA, USSF, and USCYBERCOM to ensure IT and cyber dominance.

Dean’s distinguished military career is marked by multiple commendations, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal.

A Nashua, New Hampshire native, Dean is married to his high school sweetheart, Lori. They have three children: Tyler, who followed in his father’s aviation footsteps and now serves as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, Gabriella, and Evan. Dean is also known for his love of gardening and sharing his homemade jams and pickles with colleagues and partners – a personal touch that has quickly made him a fan favorite both within the Hanscom community and the TekSynap family.
