Garrick Yahnke, Vice President of Sales, TekSynap Integration Services leads an organization that drives growth by strategically positioning proven, mission-centric services that align with his creative sales strategy to uniquely approach the market. Yahnke has comprehensive responsibility for team development, opportunity identification, end to end sales and capture strategy, competitive analysis, price to win assessment, channel management, marketing, proposal development, and for influence on the future strategic direction of the organization. Yahnke possesses tremendous ability to foster new relationships and an enormous dedication to leading and developing high performing teams.
In his previous role as AT&T’s Assistant Vice President of Civilian Markets, Yahnke led an international sales organization of more than 50 professionals, spanning more than half of all Civilian agencies, and ran a P&L center responsible for more than $500M annually. Yahnke’s career at AT&T spanned more than two decades and saw him take on roles of increasing scope and complexity. Departing AT&T as one of the most decorated sales professionals in the history of the company, Mr. Yahnke served as an organizational thought leader in terms of acquisition sales strategy, achieved consistent double digit revenue growth, and delivered on customer service targets every year. Yahnke is most known for his development, management and ultimately executive leadership of AT&T’s largest federal client, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In conjunction with the Agency, Yahnke and his team implemented strategies that laid the foundation for improving quality of Veteran Health care for years to come, achieved numerous accolades from the agency, and drove record growth at the agency. Yahnke personally developed the strategy and delivered the winning Networx pitch resulting in more than $1B of contract revenue. Yahnke’s career at AT&T culminated with multiple EIS wins that total more than $4B of expected revenue, an unmatched record of delivering growth and results, and he is most proud of promoting more than 20 employees and mentoring 6 more to achieve Executive positions.
Yahnke a proud father of four children, enjoys sports of all kinds and is an avid traveler. Yahnke is passionate about the Festival De San Fermin (The Running of the Bulls), the Pittsburgh Steelers, music of all kinds and amateur wrestling. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Shepherd University, WV and has an Executive Leadership certification from Cornell University.
