Dean Cibotti Joins TekSynap

TekSynap, a leading provider of innovative IT solutions for government and defense sectors, proudly announces the appointment of Dean Cibotti as Vice President of Air Force (USAF) Programs. Cibotti brings over 30 years of distinguished leadership in defense, aviation, systems engineering, and space operations, with extensive expertise in both military and civilian capacities.

A Boston area native, Cibotti previously served as a Senior Director at General Dynamics IT, overseeing business development for their USAF portfolio. He continues to serve as an IMA to the Division Commander in the US Air Force Reserve, leveraging his deep knowledge of acquisition and technology integration to enhance mission capabilities. Commissioned from the United States Air Force Academy, he began his career as a rated pilot and amassed over 10,000 hours in various military and civilian aircraft, culminating his flying career as a 747-8 Captain at a major airline.

His numerous military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal, amongst others.

In his new role, Cibotti will lead TekSynap’s strategy and growth across its USAF portfolio, driving impactful innovations and delivering cutting-edge solutions to tackle Air Force challenges. “I’m diving into this new role with a full tank of JP-8 and a mission to attack Air Force pain points with speed, precision, and maybe just a little friendly fire (in the form of aggressive innovation),” Cibotti said. “Let’s connect, collaborate, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
