NOVEMBER 8, 2023 – U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie A. Su recognized TekSynap as one of the 859 recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by U.S. Department of Labor. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.

Darrell’s career encompasses leadership roles in multi-billion-dollar Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) government projects worldwide, coupled with a strong security emphasis. Post his naval service, which included over 26 years as a Senior Naval Officer with domestic and international strategic operations management, Darrell transitioned to a significant role as a GS-15 Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Navy Region Southwest (NRSW), where he oversaw ICT operations and Cyber Security programs for the southwestern United States.

Mr. Nealy’s dedication to continuous system support and enhancement improvements is a testimony to his substantial federal government career. With a comprehensive understanding of Information Warfare Concepts, he has a command of tactical, operational, and strategic level ICT solutions and cybersecurity programs. Huachuca community, its Soldiers and Families. The MAC’s primary mission is to facilitate constant dialog between civilian and commercial leadership and the Fort – while providing information and opportunities for Military Families to get off post, engage with, and enjoy the town. This is accomplished through events, programs, sponsorships, and a wide variety of activities – including Quarterly Luncheons held on the Fort where Military and town leadership gather to exchange information, honor Soldiers’ of the Quarter, and fellowship over good food. TekSynap Awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Providing Data Readiness for AI Development (DRAID) for the DoD JAIC

TekSynap is pleased to be among those awarded a basic ordering agreement (BOA) providing Data Readiness for Artificial Intelligence Development (DRAID) for the DoD Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC). The BOA is a decentralized vehicle that streamlines rapid procurement and agile delivery of AI data readiness capabilities for the #DoD! The streamlined methodologies implemented will benefit both industry and government partners, by increasing competition and flexibility on ceilings for each task order.

The successful use of AI depends critically on the availability of quality data that can be used to build reliable AI-enabled systems. The DRAID vehicle will address the entire data lifecycle, beginning from the collection, through pre-processing, up to before AI system creation. It will also support AI-specific requirements, including unique challenges in operationalizing data for AI. DRAID is also customizable; it enables the selection of a custom subset of AI data readiness services to meet individual needs.

DRAID will be accessible to the DoD and provides an Intellectual Property Flowchart that helps DoD partners draft requirement packages. Additional tools, features, and information will be added to help facilitate the DoD’s ability to deliver rapid and agile AI technologies.

TekSynap Awarded a Potential $87M Defense Logistics Agency J6 Enterprise Service Delivery II Task Order

RESTON, Va., Aug. 9, 2022 – TekSynap has secured the award for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J6 Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) II task order. The contract, awarded under DLA J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS), has a base year worth $24.6 million; two one-year options, if all exercised, would bring the total value of this effort to a potential $87 million.

TekSynap’s customer-centric team will support DLA’s customers at 160 site locations around the world. The TekSynap ESD II team will provide IT services and solutions focused on enterprise desktop support for both Tier 2 and Tier 2.5, local network administration and management, database systems and cybersecurity engineering support, active directory support and application delivery functions.

DLA provides mission-critical, global supply chain support to the warfighter, federal agencies and its allied partners. TekSynap will support DLA’s mission by providing a full range of IT services, technical and management expertise that support applications, software, hardware, infrastructure and integrated desktop customer service solutions, across the DLA IT enterprise. The ESD II task order will also facilitate DLA’s audit readiness and audit sustainability lines-of-effort by providing end-to-end IT hardware and software asset infrastructure management and accountability. This award represents the 59th task order TekSynap has won under the DLA JETS program since its inception in 2017 and we currently support 22 active task order on JETS, ranging from enterprise IT support services to cloud services within DLA.
