Lisa McCann is an Arizona native, born and raised in Southern Arizona. She currently runs TekSynap’s Western Operations located in Sierra Vista, Arizona. She brings over 25 years of DoD IT experience and leadership in Enterprise Operations, Program Management, and Solution Development. Lisa has proven experience providing support to DoD customers that includes US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) and US Army Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC). She is results driven with a focus on growth and strategic planning and program leadership, while establishing strong customer and partner relationships. Lisa has successfully overseen all phases of contracts from opportunity identification to solutions development through program execution and management. She has a unique blend of technical understanding, leadership, and analytical skills that allows her to effectively lead teams.

Lisa began working in the technology industry in 1997 as a Senior Systems Engineer at US Army NETCOM. After her time there, Lisa transitioned to Smartronix Inc., where she worked as a Program Development Manager. Eventually, this path led her to becoming the Vice President of Business Development at Empower AI, and subsequently TekSynap.

With Lisa’s guidance, TekSynap utilizes groundbreaking technological solutions that contribute to an effective and efficient work environment. Lisa’s work with her team has allowed further innovation within the tech field, developing computing, cloud, and secure operational systems while expertly marketing it to clients.

With 24 years of experience, Lisa has expertly navigated the technology field and has fostered a workplace that encourages a growth mindset while properly using our channels to market a product to fruition. Su recognized TekSynap as one of the 859 recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by U.S. Department of Labor. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
