Synaptek is in the process of changing our branding from “Synaptek” to “TekSynap”. All aspects of the company remain the same.
The reason for this change is an apparent trademark conflict with a California company called Synoptek LLC (with an “o” instead of an “a”). While we had a trademark for the “Synaptek” name, Synoptek LLC filed a trademark infringement lawsuit in California requesting a judicial cancelation of our trademark. Recently, the judge in the case filed an order to cancel our trademark for the “Synaptek” name and found that our use of the name infringes on the plaintiff’s mark, citing a possibility of future confusion. It is clear in the judge’s order that we must change our branding as quickly as possible. The most notable immediate effect is that our website has been changed to reflect the TekSynap name. Subsequently, business cards, communications and other branded items will be updated to reflect the new branding.
Today, applications are the lifelines of any business. They support how a company operates, generates revenue, gains value from its employees, and builds relationships with its customers. One of the top priorities for any company is deciding the best way to manage that application portfolio. The rise of cloud and mobile technologies makes this task simultaneously more urgent and more complex.
Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-American inventor, and futurist, once said, “The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine.” In the millennial, when most enterprises were trying to supplement their wired IT infrastructure, Kamran Jinnah, the CEO of TekSynap worked on Tesla’s philosophy to create a wireless stratosphere in IT. In that period, the Reston, VA based firm built some of the largest wireless mobility network platform for its clients in the U.S. The company leverages cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure to create a comprehensive wireless mobility workforce. “We envision that there is a progressive future of wireless networks over the traditional wired channels as it can significantly cut down the operational and deployment costs of the electronics,” says Jinnah. The firm assists its clients in reducing the cost of labors, cables, patch paddles, and switches through deploying wireless mobility networks which enables them to stay nimble and seamlessly continually work towards their organization’s goals.
