TekSynap Awarded Department of Justice Declassification Services Contract

TekSynap announced today that it has been awarded a 5-year 8(a) competitive procurement to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) at its headquarters in Washington, DC to provide Document Declassification and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program Support Services.

Under this contract, TekSynap and team member AECOM provide analytical and administrative support to prepare, complete, and deliver automatic historical declassification reviews resulting in recommendations for all material 25 years old or older in accordance with the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and DOJ.

In addition, TekSynap staff provides assistance in the evaluation of requirements associated with creating, processing, transmitting, handling, self-inspections, safeguarding, and destruction of CUI including identification of specific CUI categories and subcategories handled by DOJ, policy guidance documentation development, and CUI training.
