TekSynap Selected for NOAALink Small Business On Ramp Award

On Friday, January 3rd, 2017, the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration announced four new awardees for the NOAALink Small Business On Ramp contract. Under the $2.5 billion NOAALink program, TekSynap and a team of accomplished subcontractor partners will provide mission-centric, innovative support services to assist NOAA and the Department of Commerce in the continuing transformation to a new operating model, the cornerstone of which is the delivery of shared enterprise information services.

“This award is the culmination of years of pursuit work – crossing a significant achievement in TekSynap’s history as a company. We are honored to have been selected by the Government for this important contract,” said TekSynap’s CEO, Kamran Jinnah. Launched in 2008, the NOAALink IDIQ contract provides a vehicle for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Department of Commerce, and its other bureaus to procure Information Technology (IT) products and services in four CORE IT Service areas: Customer Care, Infrastructure Management, Business Management, and Information Security and Risk Management.

The NOAALink Small Business contract supports IT initiatives across a broad spectrum, providing a key vehicle for NOAA and the Department of Commerce to continue leveraging technology advancements, including cloud computing, mobile devices, big data, and grid computing and effectively meet the expectations of today’s workforce by providing information devices and services that are highly interactive and promote information sharing, collaboration, and innovation. TekSynap’s contract begins in January 2017 to September 2020.
