TekSynap is a CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO) within the CMMC Ecosystem

The Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a new initiative backed by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). The goal of this initiative is to enhance the protection of CUI and improve the cybersecurity posture of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). As a precursor to CMMC, the DOD put into effect DFAR 252.204-7019, which requires all contractors to register their NIST 800-171 Basic Assessment Score to the Supplier Performance Risk System by Nov. 30, 2020. TekSynap has not only submitted our NIST 800-171 Basis Assessment Score to SPRS prior to Nov. 30, 2020, but has attained CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO) status within the CMMC Ecosystem. As an RPO, TekSynap is qualified to provide advice, consulting and recommendations to organizations preparing for CMMC certification. TekSynap employs CMMC Registered Practitioners who are trained on the CMMC methodology and are ready to assist our customers. TekSynap is excited to help our peers in the DIB work towards certification and keep the United States safe from adversaries.

TekSynap is fully prepared and waiting to complete a CMMC v.1.02 Level 3 Assessment as soon as Certified 3rd Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs) are accredited to perform CMMC audits. We have completed an additional self-assessment against the newly released CMMC v1.02 Level 1 and Level 3 assessment guides to ensure TekSynap is fully prepared for certification. Based on our participation in industry events related to CMMC, we expect to be one of the first companies to receive an assessment in 2021.
