TekSynap has integrated cloud and on-premise services such as ICAM, networking, and security management to provide seamless hybrid cloud solutions for our customers that provide a foundation for cloud migrations and data center consolidation. TekSynap has developed and deployed native cloud applications, refactored legacy applications, and successfully transitioned several infrastructure functions to the cloud utilizing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS in these solutions. TekSynap assists our customers in meeting their budget goals as more workloads and services move to the cloud. This is accomplished through implementing methods to reduce rates charged for cloud consumption and providing detailed forecasting of future consumption volume.

Wireless Implementation Overview

Preparation and the RF Survey / Design

  • CAD drawings are provided by the customer
  • TekSynap conducts a kickoff presentation and a Site Review Work Session to discuss all areas to be covered
  • TekSynap survey teams perform the RF survey
  • Conduct a walkthrough of the areas using a draft AP locations document with cable installer and the customer

Pre-Installation and Installation

  • TekSynap coordinates with the customer to ensure any required pre-requisites are completed prior to dispatching the installation personnel
  • Installation personnel install cables and hangs APs
  • TekSynap engineers configure the controllers and associated equipment
  • APs will be added to the system as they come online

Post Installation Test and Validation

  • TekSynap engineers perform a standard set of tests
  • TekSynap survey teams perform post installation testing and walk entire facility to gather as built heat maps
  • The TekSynap team develops the final documentation and delivers the package to the customer

Responsible for the design and installation of renovated wireless coverage for Phases 1 through 4 in the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB). TekSynap also designed and implemented the wireless location-based grade network support for the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA and the National Defense University in Washington, DC.
