Chef Tom Moran
Tom joined the Hershey Lodge Culinary team in March 2009. Tom is the Executive Sous Chef, responsible for all culinary restaurant operations for the property. Tom was born in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA and begun his culinary career washing dishes and cooking when he was in high school. After high school, Tom attended and graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Tom began his professional career at Treesdale Golf and Country Club in Pittsburgh, PA, then later River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA. Tom is a four-time participant in the Taste of the NFL and also worked under former White House Chef, Walter Scheib, hosting fine dining events across the country. Tom is passionate about scratch cooking and enjoys simplistic cooking with quality ingredients.
