TekSynap Awarded NDU ITSS with Prime General Dynamics Information Technology

In July, 2012, General Dynamics and TekSynap were awarded a $39M contract to provide comprehensive IT support services to the National Defense University (NDU). The contract encompasses support for all IT aspects supporting NDU’s mission. The relationship with NDU began in November 2011, when TekSynap was awarded a contract to design and deploy the NDU Enterprise Wireless Network. The site design is based upon detailed Radio Frequency (RF) analysis for the National Defense University and Joint Forces Staff College using AirMagnet’s Site Surveyor Pro and Cisco’s Wireless Technology Suite. The resulting solution expanded coverage to all administrative and campus buildings throughout the NDU facilities offering wireless coverage for over 1 Million square feet. The solution has evolved in support of the new policies for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and wireless printer kiosks for the student population.
